Six weeks of works to the Firgrove Hill railway bridge in Farnham will begin at 1.30am this Sunday.
Network Rail will be installing scaffolding trackside from 1.30am on Sunday to 4am on Monday.
The main works to jet wash the bridge before painting it will then take place between October 2 and November 17 across two shifts daily: from 7am to 4pm and 8pm to 6am Monday to Friday.
A road closure will be in place from 8pm to 6am each night for the duration of the works, with a diversion route to be signposted.
Network Rail workers will be using compressors, air compressed power tools, water tankers, 110v power tools, hand tools and generators.
The scaffolding will then be removed between 2am on December 9 and 4am on December 11.
