The Petersfield Community Choir’s final concert of the year was an outstanding success.
The ‘Sounds of Winter’ concert took place at St Peter’s Church and was led by musical director, Ysanne Bonner. Five musicians from Churcher’s College joined the choir as the guest act, and one member said they “added to the success of the evening”.
The retiring collection for the FitzRoy charity raised more than £1,100 and the choir thanks everyone who contributed.
Mayor Cllr Lesley Farrow was among those in attendance, alongside FitzRoy’s head of fundraising Zoe Andrews and assistant marketing fundraiser Rebecca Buckley.
Ending on a high note, the church was filled with music and laughter as everyone joined in for the carols.
