New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of East Hampshire’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Cricketers Inn at The Cricketers Church Road Steep Petersfield Gu32 2dw; rated on January 22

• Rated 5: The Trooper Inn at Trooper Inn Petersfield Road Froxfield Petersfield Gu32 1bd; rated on January 17

• Rated 5: The Hanger Free House at The Hanger Free House Oakhanger Road Oakhanger Bordon Gu35 9jq; rated on January 15

• Rated 5: Royal British Legion at The Royal British Legion Headley Road Grayshott Hindhead Gu266tz; rated on November 25

It means that of East Hampshire's 139 similar establishments with ratings, 106 (76%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
