Petersfield Rugby Club will bring the curtain down on their season with their traditional annual Pub Sevens competition tomorrow (Sunday).
The event, which starts at 10.30am, sees Jarrods Sevens defend the title they won from the Folly Wine Bar last season.
The Folly return stronger, fitter and faster, while the Queen’s Head will also be in the mix for the silverware.
Returning with two ‘tag teams’ are the Whistle Stop and the Duke of Cumberland, with the Clubhouse also contributing two sides.
Cloisters enter the event for the first time, as do the Blue Angel – who are making the trek from the University of Liverpool. Upton Park Bar have also entered the competition.
The Jerry Hicks Tankard will once again be awarded to the team with the best shirts.
Everyone is welcome to come along on Sunday and support the Pub Sevens event.
Petersfield’s first team were awarded a home walkover by Bognor RFC in the semi-finals of the Hampshire Bowl last Saturday (April 22).
Field will now entertain Millbrook RFC at Penns Place today (Saturday) in the Hampshire Bowl final. Kick-off is at 3pm.
