Shottermill & Haslemere Football Club celebrated the end of a successful season with their annual presentation evening.
For the first team, the manager’s player award went to Alex Hooker and the players’ player award went to Greg Lyall.
For the reserve team, the manager’s player award went to Tom Johnson and the players’ player award went to Zach Banstead.
The top goalscorer was Adam Bicknall, the young player of the year was Johnson and the clubman of the year was Tim Howard.
The club thanked everyone who supported them throughout the season, and are actively looking for sponsors.
It was announced Howard will leave his role as chairman and secretary of the football club.
After playing for the club for many years, he became first-team manager before taking over as chairman and secretary. Everyone at the club thanked him and wished him well for the future.
It was agreed he will be sorely missed behind the scenes at the club.
The club are currently looking for volunteers to fill a range of roles – from running the line on a Saturday afternoon to secretary and chairman.
Anyone who is interested and can spare any time to volunteer, and anyone who would like to sponsor the club, should email Andrew Burdett.
