Elliot Harrison broke the deadlock after 15 minutes as Mark Glazier’s side started the brighter, before the Swifts levelled heading into the interval.
The Blues never really got going in the second half, with the visitors enjoying large spells of possession which they made count. It was a fruitful afternoon for striker Robbie Owen, who fired a hat-trick for the Swifts – including a late penalty – with Ben Morris also on target in their 4-1 triumph.
The two sides are set to meet once more on Saturday, April 1, at Foxcotte Park. Prior to that, Liss travel to third-bottom Moneyfields Reserves today (Saturday). The match kicks off at 6.30pm.
