Badshot Lea fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Southall in the Isthmian League South Central Division.
Goals from Lucias Vine and William Montague were enough to give the visitors the three points at Westfield Lane.
After an even start to the match, Southall took the lead with the first clear chance of the game.
A ball over the top caught the Baggies’ defence out, and the ball was squared across goal for Vine to tap home into an empty net in the 17th minute.
Vine had a good chance to double the visitors’ lead before half-time, but he put his effort wide of the near post.
The Baggies pushed for an equaliser after the break, with Kane Fitzgerald’s effort forcing a save from Southall keeper Kojusoluwa Abayomi.
The visitors doubled their advantage on 66 minutes when Montague calmly placed his finish into the bottom left-hand corner past Baggies keeper Harry Cawdron.
The home side tried to find a way back into the match, but Southall saw the game out efficiently to claim all three points.
Vine nearly made it 3-0 in stoppage time, but his fierce effort was well tipped over by Cawdron.
Next up for the Baggies is a home game against Binfield in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
