HEADLEY Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have benefitted from a £12,000 revamp of their hall, in Beech Hill Road.

Now there is more room for their activities and the floor has been made safer and marked out for games.

The £12,000 included a £2,000 grant from East Hampshire District Council, while parents and villagers helped with demolitions and decorating. Debbie Long, Beaver leader, said: "Our Scout group has 25 to 30 members so we desperately needed a bigger space."
