LEST we forget, this Sunday a Remembrance service is being held in Haslemere.

The church service is at 10am at St Bartholomew’s Church. At 10.30am the parade will then head to the war memorial in the town centre for the sounding of The Last Post, two minutes’ silence, the laying of wreaths and the reading of the roll of honour. All are invited to attend.

Those wishing to attend the service at the war memorial should arrive before 10.50am.

The town council urgently needs volunteers for stewarding this event. Email [email protected] if you can give a couple of hours.
