There will be double cause for celebration when a village near Bordon holds a right royal get-together this weekend.
The annual Oakhanger May Fayre will take place this Sunday with lots of fun and games from 1pm on the village green.
Organisers will also mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day at the event with stalls, live music, face painting, BBQ, cakes and a beer tent among the highlights.

And there will, of course, be the crowning of the May Queen with an anointed villager being given the honour of opening the fair and commencing the Maypole dancing.
Selborne Parish Council has also encouraged villagers to wear a VE day outfit to the fayre, which will include a celebratory photo board of WWII relatives.
