HISTORIC Wheatley House, on the road between Binsted and Kingsley, will again open its garden gates to the public on Sunday (October 17), between 1.30pm and 5pm.
Wheatley House owners Michael and Susannah Addlington have been opening their garden for many years, and this year’s event will again raise funds for the National Garden Scheme’s various nursing and health charities.
It promises a large garden still full of colour with panoramic views over Alice Holt Forest and South Downs beyond.
There will be ’help yourself’ refreshments and local crafts available in the Old Barn, as well as stone sculptures in the garden.
Lots of plants, mainly grown in the garden divisions, will be for sale - including some to be "dug up on request".
Entry costs £5 per person, with children free.
