Developer Redbrown Ltd wants its 13-acre site north-east of Holybourne play area (pictured) to be included in East Hampshire District Council’s new Local Plan.

It has already published a layout for the 200-house estate it would like to build on the land near Church Lane and Pentons Close.

Around 300 people attended a meeting to discuss the proposal staged by the Holybourne Village Association in the parish church on Monday night.
