Police have seized a vehicle as investigations continue into a spate of van-related crime in a village near Bordon.

Numerous vans and commercial vehicles around Headley Down have been broken into or damaged in recent weeks with tools being repeatedly stolen.

Most have taken place around the Woodlands area with Birch Road, Larch Road and Maple Way among the affected areas.

The late-night incidents have been unofficially linked to a “noisy” silver Audi saloon which has been repeatedly seen in the aforementioned areas.

Police have confirmed that a vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation but have not confirmed the make, colour or model.

A 28-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle but was released with no further action.
