IF SANTA didn’t leave the right present in your stocking then two Petersfield good causes would like your help.

The Petersfield Climate Action Network (PeCAN) and the Winton House Centre will launch a Christmas Present Exchange on Tuesday.

Participants who bring their good quality unwanted gifts to Winton House any weekday from 9.30am to 3.30pm until next Friday, January 12, will be given a token.

They can use that token to pick an exchange gift between 9.30am and 12midday on Saturday, January 13, at the 18 High Street venue.

The aim of the present exchange is to reduce waste and provide a home for nice but unwanted gifts that may otherwise be thrown away or kept hidden.

Tokens can also be donated for someone else in the community to use, while anything left over will be donated to charity. As the saying goes, one man’s waste is another man’s treasure.
