TWO men have been arrested after an attempted armed robbery at Lloyds Bank in Liphook on Monday.
Officers were called at 4.10pm to reports that two men had demanded cash.
Jonathan Pay, 46, of Liphook Road, Lindford, has been charged with two counts of attempted robbery, one count of possesion of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and one count of wounding with intent.
He has been remanded to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today.
A 31-year-old British man of no fixed address has been bailed as part of the investigation until July 13 pending further enquiries.
