SOME “outstanding” football was played by pupils from schools in Bordon, Camelsdale, Petersfield, Liss, Rowledge, Haslemere and South Farnham, competing in the annual U9 tournament hosted by St Edmund’s School in Hindhead.
Joining Bordon, Camelsdale, Liss, Rowledge and South Farnham primary schools and St Edmund’s, were Herne Junior School, Petersfield, and St Bartholomew’s Primary School, Haslemere.
During the round robin-style tournament, it went to the very final matches to determine the overall winner.

St Edmund’s head teacher Adam Walliker, presented the trophies and medals to the competing teams,
He said: “Congratulations to each of you playing. The level of football was simply outstanding and it has been both an honour and privilege to host such an enjoyable and successful event.”
