St Thomas-on-The Bourne Church is hosting weekly concerts and light Lent lunches to raise money for Christian Aid’s East African Hunger Crisis Appeal.

The concerts start at midday and are followed by lunch. Donations are requested for the concert, and the soup lunch costs £7. It is possible to attend the concert without having lunch. Most artistes are professionals.

The programme is: March 8 – Music students from King Edward’s School, Witley; March 15 – Emmanuel Bach (violin), Jenny Stern (piano); March 22 – In Accord, a capella ladies’ choir; March 29 – Gary Peacock (piano), Jane Faulkner (violin); April 5 – choral and keyboard music from St Thomas-on-The Bourne’s choirs.
