An East Hampshire tennis club is doing its bid to smash cancer by holding a 12-hour fundraising event.

Kingsley Indoor Tennis Centre is courting players of all ages and abilities to take part in a Tennis-a-thon Day in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer.

There’s no chance of rain stopping play as every game during the 8am to 8pm event next Saturday, August 24, will be held indoors.

Established players to complete beginners are welcome to take part with fun and games for all the family and prizes for competitors with the best and funniest fancy dress.

Proceeds from the event will support young children suffering from cancer with donations welcome from those unable to attend.

“Your support would be amazing so please come along and help use to achieve our aim,” said a spokesperson for the club.
