Cuisine from around the world will be celebrated next weekend when a tasty event returns to Alton town centre.
Dishes from South East Asia to South Africa will be served up from 11am to 4pm next Sunday (September 8) when Alton Flavourfest food, drink and music festival returns to the Public Gardens.
If you knead something closer to home them maybe Neapolitan pizza may appeal, while Turkish delights like baklava can be found at MKS Food Distribution’s stall.
Visitors can’t miss out on the locally sourced produce from across the South East with handmade choccies, cakes and bakes on offer.
Or chow down on some savouries with freshly baked bread, cheeses, oils and sauces that will leave your stomach hungry for more.
There’s no excuse to go thirsty with a garden gin bar, Westcountry cider from JJ’s, Hampshire ales from Longdog Brewery and local liquors which pack a punch.
“The festival is a huge celebration of food and drink and gives local producers the chance to come together and share their fantastic food creations with our visitors,” said Jenny Atherton, the festival organiser.
Visitors can channel their inner Gordon Ramsay as Becca from The Natural Cook Company will give cooking demonstrations.
And just when you think the little ones are full to their hearts content, there’s face painting, trampolines, biscuit decorating and free children’s crafts.
All while the adults are whisked away by the live music from the bandstand – it’s a mash made in heaven.
