Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have 13 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 9pm June 7 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further 12 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm June 17 to 6am June 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Upper Hammer Lane, Lane closures for surveys.

• A3, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.

• A3, from 8pm June 19 to 6am June 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm June 19 to 6am June 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm June 20 to 6am June 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• A3, from 8pm June 20 to 6am June 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Longmoor to Thursley, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.

• A3, from 9pm June 21 to 6am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Sheet, slip road closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm June 24 to 6am June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liss, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm June 26 to 6am June 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Knock Hundred Lane, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• A3, from 8pm June 27 to 6am June 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Sheet, slip road and lane closures for structures work.

• A3, from 9.30pm June 27 to 6am June 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm June 28 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Griggs Green to Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
