Alton town mayor Cllr Ben Hamlin visited Resurrection Furniture on January 11 to award certificates to its longest serving volunteers.
Resurrection Furniture is a charity furniture and lifestyle shop in High Street which sells furniture, bric-a-brac, electricals, homeware, gifts and jewellery that have been donated. Profits support good causes in Alton and its surrounding villages.
Manager Natasha Perrin said: “We have several volunteers who have been with us since Resurrection first opened, and we wanted to say thank you for all their hard work and dedication.
“We would like to thank Cllr Hamlin for making our event even more special. The mayor had a tour of the shop, including our furniture restoration and electrical testing area. We had the chance to show the mayor the wide range of furniture, accessories and gifts currently in the shop.”
