CAPTAIN Andrew Canale, MVO Royal Navy, will give a fundraising talk on his time as equerry to the late Queen, Elizabeth II.
Andrew joined the Royal Navy in 1996 and has performed a variety of naval roles during his career, including several command positions and operational experiences around the world.
He served as equerry to Her Majesty the Queen from 2012 to 2015 and he also performed the duty of pall bearer at the late Queen’s funeral.
Andrew’s more recent roles include auditing the UK’s Very High Readiness forces at the MoD, which included secondments to the Department for Transport and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
He subsequently assumed command at Fleet Operational Standards & Training (Ships).
He will be returning to the MoD in Whitehall this September.
The talk will raise funds for Haslemere Museum and will take place on Thursday, September 28, at 7pm at the museum.
