Students at a Bordon school have been given a taste of life after the classroom by local and national firms.

The careers fayre at Oakmoor gave students the chance to speak to firms, training providers, colleges and universities about their futures, employment prospects and what qualifications they need.

Local firms like Asmodee, Old Thorns Hotel & Resort, KJ Cox Solicitors Ltd and the Deadwater Valley Trust took part alongside the likes of BAE Systems and the Army.

Students were given a postcard with prompts at the start of the fayre to help when asking questions.

If they asked a probing and meaningful question to an exhibitor, the card would be stamped as part of a competition to win a £25 Amazon gift voucher.
