BRAMSHOTT & Liphook Parish Council has revealed more details about the new building for the War Memorial Recreation Ground in Liphook.
Executive officer Peter Stanley said: “The new building will be 8m by 12m by 5.5m and will be of cold rolled steel frame construction.
“It will be an agricultural building housing tractors, tools and some office and welfare space for council grounds staff.
“The site to be demolished is the current old tractor shed and the building that housed the former Willows Nursery School. Both buildings are old and no longer fit for purpose.”
The project will cost £120,000, with £80,000 to buy and put up the new building and the rest for demolition, site security and other costs.
It will be funded by £60,000 from the council’s reserves and £60,000 of developer contributions, so it will not increase the council tax bill.
