Comedian Maisie Adam is bringing her Buzzed tour to the Theatre Royal Winchester on February 11 at 7.30pm.
After selling out the first leg of her debut tour, and enjoying a highly-acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Winchester show is one of the new dates that have been added.
Maisie performed her first stand-up show in 2016, and a few months later in 2017 she won So You Think You’re Funny?, the UK’s largest stand-up contest, which was won previously by many of her comedy heroes including Peter Kay, Aisling Bea and Tom Allen.
She is the fourth woman to have won the competition in its 30-year history.
The following year, Maisie was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut stand-up show Vague, where she also won the Amused Moose National Comic Award.
She is rapidly becoming a household name, and fresh from appearances on top comedy television shows Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, A League Of Their Own, Mock The Week, The Last Leg, QI, Roast Battle, Hypothetical and The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Maisie is now breaking through to the big time.
The Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominee is taking the nation by storm and her show is rammed with witty observations, high-octane energy and some really good jokes.
Maisie’s anecdotal material and witty charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country.
She also hosts the podcast That’s A First, alongside fellow comedian Tom Lucy.
Maisie is a big football fan and plays regularly for her local team.
