Dinosaur enthusiasts have hailed a T-rexillant day of fun and discovery at a beauty spot in Bordon.
There was a buzz among the paleontology community last Saturday (April 20) as The Beehive on Hogmoor Inclosure hosted a Dinosaur Discovery Day.
The event included a fossil exhibition with experts from the Dinosaur Isle Museum showcasing a variety of examples from their Isle of Wight base.

Collectors were also encouraged to bring their fossil finds along for identification at the event, organised by the Woolmer Forest Heritage Society in conjunction with the Whitehilll & Bordon Community Trust and Deadwater Valley Trust.
There was plenty of Jurassic Park life on show with a T-Rex roaming around Hogmoor to publicise the fun while children were encouraged to make their own ‘fossils’ from leaves and flowers.
Visitors were encouraged to complete a dinosaur quiz and Chris Perry compiled a heritage explorer booklet for children to colour in.
