A coffee van operator is going places after successfully winning the contract to run the café at a Whitehill & Bordon beauty spot.
Residents have shown a latte love to Bean and Gone as the van has become a regular outside BASE Innovation Centre.
Now visitors to the Bordon Inclosure can get a taste after getting the nod from the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company to run the café.
“We are delighted to welcome Bean and Gone as the new operators of the café at Hogmoor Inclosure,” said James Child, WBRC project lead.
“Their presence will uphold the great legacy the café has built and will further enhance the visitor experience at Hogmoor.
“We are excited to see Bean and Gone develop within the business community we are cultivating here in W&B.”
The café plays a vital role at the beauty spot but Bean and Gone were considered a good fit thanks to their reputation, commitment and positive impact in the community.
“Hogmoor Inclosure is a beautiful location, and we look forward to serving our customers in this stunning setting,” said the firm’s “incredibly excited” owner, Nick Rawbin.
“We are committed to making a positive contribution to the ongoing development of W&B and to providing a space where people can come together, relax, and enjoy great food and drink.”
Bean and Gone's is expected to open in October following a brief refit period and staff training while a diverse menu with locally sourced products, freshly baked goods and signature coffee is promised.
