HASLEMERE Food Bank has kicked off its annual Christmas gift drive, and it needs your help to make a difference. 

Gift vouchers or monetary donations are needed, with the food bank using these contributions to provide Christmas gifts to local families in need. Alternatively, people can hand-pick a gift in store and set it aside for the food bank to collect. Just swing by any participating business or give them a call. The Swan Inn is collecting gifts for those who’ve purchased items elsewhere. 

All gifts must be new this year. Second-hand items cannot be accepted. Customers at both Oliver’s and Hemingways can also choose to purchase an ‘invisible coffee’, with the proceeds going towards providing complimentary vouchers for tea and cake to those in need.

Participating businesses are The Haslemere Bookshop, Past & Present, Sass & Spirit, The Sports Locker, The Original Factory Shop, Marley Flowers, R Miles & Son, Oliver’s, Hemingways and The Swan Inn. Deadline for donations is December 13.
