WOODLEA Primary School held its annual summer fair on Saturday, raising funds for the school.
Treasurer Sarah Stanbridge said the day was a success and, although money was still coming in she expected it to exceed last year’s total.
The sports-themed event generated funds for maths resources and themed weeks at the Whitehill school, such as arts week and a team challenge week.
Headteacher Marcella Dobson said the money raised last year had helped with the development of the reception-year play area, and thanked the small committee of parents “who have worked hard behind the scenes over the past year to plan the fair”.
