Adam Beattie and Fiona Bevan plus friends are appearing at Grayshott Folk Club in Grayshott Village Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Des O’Byrne booked Adam and Fiona for the club after hearing them play at St Christopher’s Church in Haslemere last May on the recommendation of Basil Brooks. Des said: “They are a formidable musical pair and each accompanied the other as they played and sang songs they had written themselves.”
Scottish singer/songwriter and guitarist Adam has roots in Scottish folk music and a lifelong interest in old time jazz and blues. His music is defined by his distinctive voice, narrative lyrics and finger-style guitar playing.
Fiona is a highly accomplished and well recognised songwriter, achieving a number one album with Kylie Minogue and penning hit songs with household names such as Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Tom Walker, Steps and Dan from Bastille.
For tickets, priced £18, visit Grayshott post office or call Des O’Byrne on 01428 607096.
