Some of the best folk and acoustic bands in Hampshire and Surrey will perform at a village festival near Bordon next month.
A host of talented acts will strum their stuff at Headfest with the festival taking place at Headley village hall on Saturday, July 20.
Performances will include folk duo Dove’s Vagaries, who specialise in making music with modern and ancient instruments, and lifelong singer Lynne Whiteland who first picked up a guitar, aged 11.
Another act on the programme is Fate of the Magpie, whose “dark swirl” of poetry, guitars and whistles sounds intriguing.
The evening festival will take place from 6:30pm with tickets costing £15 per person.
Tickets are very limited and with all profits going to the Bordon-based PeerTalk Charity which provides peer support groups around the town, Whitehill and the surrounding villages.
