With Christmas just around the corner, Waverley towns and villages are planning festive events to create places for everyone to enjoy.
The festive activities and decorations hope to increase footfall on High Streets, support local businesses and bring a sparkle to local areas.
Following the switch on of Farnham’s Christmas lights on November 16, the switch on for Beacon Hill’s lights will take place on Sunday, November 24. There will be a market from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and the switch on at 4.30pm.
Haslemere Events is organising a Christmas Market on December 1 from 10am to 4pm. With a Christmas Carols service organised by the Town Council in the town centre on December 12.
Farnham’s Christmas market, organised by the Town Council, will return on December 8. Featuring more than 150 stalls in Castle Street, The Borough and the Ivy Lane Club.
