Alton Arts Festival and Goldfinch Books are planning a Taylor Swift takeover for fans of all ages on March 15 and 16.

Beginning with a grown-up event starting at 8pm on Friday, March 15, Swifties are invited to dress in their favourite era to sing and dance the night away at Goldfinch Books.

There will be karaoke, cookies, and a themed bar. Tickets for this event are £10, to be bought direct from the bookshop.

On Saturday, March 16, it will be the turn of younger Swifties. Starting from 4pm, there will be the opportunity for young fans to come along and listen to their favourite songs while decorating themed cookies, creating lyric collages, and/or making friendship bracelets (donation per activity).

From 6.30pm, there will be more karaoke and dancing for the younger crowd, together with themed non-alcoholic drinks and cake. Carriages at 9.30pm.

Tickets for the Young Swifties Night Out will be £5, available direct from Goldfinch. All proceeds will go towards the Alton Arts Festival.
