East Hampshire's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M3, from 8pm November 20 to 6am December 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 5, slip road and lane closure's for drainage works, diversion via National Highways Network.
• A3, from 9pm October 23 2023 to 6am February 29 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.
And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A3, from 8pm November 27 to 6am November 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Berelands, Slip and lane closures for maintenance work.
• A27, from 8pm November 27 to 6am December 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Harts Farm Way, slip road and roundabout closure for inspection work.
• A3, from 8pm November 28 to 6am November 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Hambarn to Liss, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A3, from 9pm November 29 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, slip road closure for grass cutting works.
• A3, from 9pm December 1 to 6am December 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.
• A3, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.
• A3, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Hazel Grove, carriageway closures for tunnel maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
