East Hampshire's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 9pm June 7 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm July 15 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 9pm July 15 to 6am July 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Chalton, slip road closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm July 16 to 6am July 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Griggs Green to Liphook, Lane closure for maintenance works.

A3, from 9.30pm July 22 to 6am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2, slip road and lane closure's for maintenance works.

A3, from 8pm July 25 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for technology work.

A3, from 9pm July 26 to 6am July 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Weston to Sheet link, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

A3, from 9.30pm July 29 to 6am July 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet to Liss, Lane closures for maintenance work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
