A Bentley man has denied threatening a woman at a Farnham pub and drink-driving in the town centre.

Jimmy Wenham, 44, of Rectory Lane, Bentley, is accused of threatened violence against a woman at The Bear and Ragged Staff in Wrecclesham on August 18, and driving a Mitsubishi Fuso Canter truck in West Street and The Hart when more than twice the legal drink drive limit on the same day.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on August 21.

Mr Wenham was remanded on conditional bail, to next appear for a trial at the same court on December 18.
