The evening rush hour became a go-slow around Bordon on Tuesday evening (January 7) following two separate incidents on the main road into the town.

Long queues developed on the southbound A325 after a lorry left the road near Country Market around 3pm.

The driver was not injured and no offences were identified but the road remained partially blocked until the vehicle was recovered a few hours later.

There was a further collision involving two cars at the Camp Road and Station Road junction around 6.30pm the same evening to add to traffic woes in the area.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said no injuries were reported and no offences were identified following the incident at the traffic lights.
