Thousand of cars and drivers came together to show off their motors and see who could get the fastest lap to raise money for charity.
Phyllis Tuckwell’s Motor Show in August was the hottest day of the year and featured pre-war to post-2000 vehicles, motorbikes, Army vehicles and more.
The event raised a total of £50,000 for the Hospice and the money will help cover the cost of the service supporting up to 630 patients.
The show was hosted at a private venue in Churt, owners Robert and Tanya Lewis opened up their collection of over 60 pristine classic cars from 1903 to the present day including the fastest car in the world and more than 100 petrol pumps and pieces of memorabilia.
Visitors also got the chance to test their speeds with an F1 simulator with the fastest being logged.
Prizes were awarded to exhibitors for a variety of categories, including the People’s Choice award sponsored by Vizion Insurance Brokers and attendees could choose their favourite car of the day.
Phyllis Tuckwell events manager, Laura Moody, said: “We were thrilled to be invited back to this stunning venue for another year’s Motor Show and would like to say a huge thank you to Robert and Tanya Lewis, who also so generously opened up their incredible private collection for the show.
“Those who attended were amazed at the wonderful vehicles and motoring memorabilia on display, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing it all.
