A charity which has supported an East Hampshire college for more than two decades has urged well-wishers to do a number on them.
The Alton College Foundation will hit a funding jackpot if supporters play the East Hampshire Community Lottery.
The good cause has supported HSDC Alton – formerly Alton College – in countless ways over the past 23 years.
It has purchased a minibus, funded a quiet garden for students and has provided bursaries and grants exceeding £125,000 since 2010. The charity awards numerous “scholarships for excellence” each year to deserving students but with running costs increasing, the good cause is looking to supporters to continue its top work.
Tickets can be bought at www.easthantslottery.co.uk/support/the-al ton-college-foundation and 50 pence from each £1 ticket will go directly to the charity and help them to continue supporting students.
