POLICE have arrested three people suspected of stealing vital personal protection equipment (PPE) from Frimley Park Hospital.
Police were called to the hospital on Tuesday, April 9, after the burglary, believed to have taken place on Tuesday, March 31, came to light.
A number of items were reported stolen including cleaning products and PPE equipment worth around £200.
Officers released CCTV images of the trio on Sunday last week, and a 46-year-old woman from Bagshot, a 44-year-old woman from Frimley and a 42-year-old man of no fixed address were subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They remain in custody.
Speaking prior to the trio of arrests, Investigating Officer PC Heather Milne said: “We are really keen to speak to the people in these pictures in connection with this burglary and we are looking for the public to help us with this investigation.
“In any circumstances, but in particular given the current climate, it is completely unacceptable a hospital has had vital safety equipment stolen.
