A FARNHAM man has been charged with murder after a father was stabbed to death in front of his son on a train.

Darren Shane Pencille, 35, of Willbury Road, Farnham, is accused of killing married father of one Lee Pomeroy, 51, on board a train from Guildford to London on Friday (January 4).

Mr Pencille was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Sunday evening in connection to the fatal incident.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Chelsea Mitchell, 27, of Willbury Road, Farnham, has also been charged with assisting an offender.

She has been remanded in custody and will appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
