A firm with noodles of optimism are getting fired up ahead of their grand opening in Bordon.
The Shed is getting another new vendor as Thai restaurant Issaya will be officially opened this Saturday, November 30.
The grand opening will begin at 11am with visitors getting the chance to meet the team, mingle with guests and get a glimpse of the eatery’s “services and offerings”.
Whitehill & Bordon mayor, Cllr James Fryer, will have the honour of inaugurating the new eatery with a host of special guests, town and district councillors set to attend.
More fun will be served up next weekend as The Shed Christmas Party will kick off at 7.30pm with a night of festive tunes from The Lee Aaron Band.
The “explosive and energetic covers party band” have lined up a festive setlist with a rock twist so expect ditties from everyone from the Doobie Brothers and David Bowie to Andy Williams and Alice Cooper.
The Shed’s annual Christmas Market will take place the next day (Sunday) from midday to 6pm with live music, local treats and a naughty elf being promised by organisers.
This year’s market should be “bigger than ever” with more than 30 stalls offering everything from crocheted goods and ceramics to jewellery, board games and chilli sauces.
Younger visitors can pet, groom and enjoy a story time with the donkeys of Pony Pals from midday to 2.30pm and make their Christmas wishes to Santa in his grotto.
